The Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salamé, received the Brazilian Ambassador to Lebanon, Tarcisio Costa, in his office at the National Library of Sanayeh, accompanied by the Head of the Embassy's Cultural Department, Pablo Romero. Discussions focused on the situation and developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly cultural relations.

After the meeting, Ambassador Costa stated: "I was delighted to meet with the Minister. As usual, it was a fruitful and positive meeting. We discussed cooperation mechanisms between us and issues of common interest, particularly regarding the Rachid Karami International Exhibition, designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on local, international, and regional developments."
