The Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salamé, received in his office at the National Library - Sanayeh, the head of the Arab League mission in Lebanon, Ambassador Abdul Rahman Al-Solh, and Advisor Dr. Youssef Al-Sabawi. They discussed several cultural issues of mutual interest, as well as mechanisms for cooperation and the development of relations in the cultural field in general.

The meeting also addressed the importance of the Arabic language and strengthening its position among the rising generations, given its diverse vocabulary, distinctive writing system, and rich history and traditions. Discussions also took place on the possibility of the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the League of Arab States, organizing an event to commemorate this occasion in the coming months, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the League's founding.
