38th session of the UNESCO General Conference

The Minister of Culture Mr. Raymond Araygi chaired  the Lebanese delegation to the 38th  General Conference of the UNESCO, which is held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris every two years.

the Conference approaches many issues related to education, culture, communication and natural sciences to humane and social sciences, management and finances.

Minister Araygi has delivered a speech "that Lebanon was among the founding members of the UNESCO for its belief in the role of culture and science in the development of human society ... therefore the message  of UNESCO is steadfast in our attitude and practice. Lebanon aspires to win a seat on the Executive Board of the UNESCO through elections which will take place this month. "
