Meeting between the Minister of Culture and the Regional Director of the AUF on the preparations for the activities of the Month of Francophonie

The Minister of Culture Dr. Ghassan Salameh received in his office at the National Library - Sanayeh the Regional Director of the University Agency of the Francophonie (agence universitaire de la Francophonie-AUF) Dr. Jean-Noël Baleo accompanied by the Deputy Director, Cynthia Raad ,and the Project Manager at the AUF Mirande Khalaf.
They discussed the preparations for the Month of the Francophonie and the means of cooperation in the framework of joint activities.
At the end of the meeting, Baleo declared that we are delighted to meet Minister Salameh today and we congratulated him on taking office and wished him success.
We also discussed the activities organized by the AUF in the cultural field, particularly those related to literature and the French language which will start with the launch of the Month of the Francophonie.
He added that they discussed the activities taking place in
cooperation with the Ministry and that they broached the reactivation of a cooperation plan and joint activities in order to promote Francophonie and culture in Lebanon.
