The Minister of Culture Dr. Ghassan Salamé received in his office at the National Library in Sanayeh, the Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Jesus Santos Aguado, on a protocolary visit during which he congratulated the minister on taking office.

They seized the occasion to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly the cultural relations, and the importance of activating cultural cooperation between Spain and Lebanon in the future at different levels, especially in regard to the organization of cultural events and signing a memorandum of understanding, as well as means to strengthen cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the National Libraries in both countries.
