The Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salameh, received the Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Qian Minjian, at his office at the National Library - Sanayeh, on a protocol visit.

 

Discussions focused on bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly cultural relations, and the importance of developing and strengthening them. 

 

During the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador informed Minister Salameh that the company responsible for constructing the National Conservatory in Dbayeh will resume its activities after construction was halted due to the security situation in Lebanon. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year and its official opening will be then announced .
