On the occasion of the tragedy suffered by theater artist Hanan Haj Ali, the Ministry of Culture issued the following statement:

The Ministry of Culture reiterates that freedom of artistic and intellectual expression is protected by the Constitution. It considers it its duty to welcome, encourage, and defend cultural creativity against those who seek to stifle or restrict it.
