The minister of Culture, Raymond Araygi, inaugurated the exhibition "bitassarof" in the reading hall of the National Library in Sanayeh, in the prescence of Ms Lama Salam and Ms.Mona Hraoui, and the President of the Lebanese National Library Foundation,  Randa Daouk ,and many politicians and cultural organizations.

The art pieces of 55 artists are exhibited in collaboration with  "Janine Rubeiz Galerie" in the framework of the rehabilitation project of the Library.

While exploring the exhibition, the Minister stressed the importance of this "event that takes place in the reading hall" and thanked the State of Qatar who has allocated a generous donation for the construction and the rehabilitation of this cultural building.

He also thanked the "Lebanese National Library Foundation" for its support, and highly appreciated "the effort made by the library staff to develop and preserve the library collections. Moreover, he appreciated the participation of the artists who donated their works to support the library, noting that "the Ministry of Culture has a comprehensive national vision to develop the National Library activity".

The exhibition is going until Sunday, November 13th.
