In his office at the National Library in Sanayeh, Minister of Culture Dr. Ghassan Salamé met with Baalbeck Governor Bashir Khodr and Chair of the Baalbeck International Festival Committee Nayla De Freige to discuss ongoing preparations for the cultural season launching the Baalbeck International Festival. After the meeting, De Freige explained: "The date is approaching, and we have responsibilities to the public that await us, as we do every year. It was necessary to inform the Minister of the challenges we face to ensure that the citadel continues to attract visitors before and after the festivals." » Governor Khodr said: “We thanked Minister Salamé for his support for culture, archaeological sites, and festivals, especially the Baalbek International Festival.
