Directorate of National Cooperation and Coordination
- Promoting cooperation with public administrations and institutions, municipalities, private institutions, local agencies, individuals, and NGOs especially those directly involved in the fields of culture, reaching agreements with them and following up on these agreements in order to achieve the goals of the cultural policy adopted in all fields that the Directorate General of Cultural Affairs is in charge of.
- Encouraging and sponsoring exhibitions, concerts and festivals in the fields of culture in addition to participating in them.
- Working to achieve a certain equality in presenting opportunities to citizens in order for them to benefit from the available offerings related to the development of innovative competences in the fields of culture.
- Managing and investing the UNESCO Palace.
- Implementing the tasks and powers vested in the Ministry of Culture and stipulated in the Law 75 for the protection of literary and artistic property, dated 3 April 1999.
