The Ministry of Culture grants its support for valuable various artistic works including paintings and sculptures and accepts their purchase after being examined by a specialized committee.

The Ministry has a collection of more than a thousand pieces of art, most of which are paintings acquired since the 1950s and some of them are exhibited at the presidential palace, the Beiteddine Palace, the Parliament, the Serail, and at some public administrations. The remaining artworks are kept in the ministry repositories.

NB: The application form must be submitted with a copy of the artwork and the CV of the applicant in an envelope during the working hours at the registry of the General Directorate of Cultural Affairs.
